Responsibilities:
Supervise?and?oversee?daily?operations?of?shipping?and?ensure?optimal?shipping?operations.
Use?the?systematic?methodology?to?develop?strategies,?policies?and?procedures?to?improve?the?overall?logistics?process?and?cost-effectiveness?to?maximize?utilization?of?resources
Monitor?closely?with?vendors?and?forwarders?on?shipment?schedule?to?ensure?customer?order?fulfillment
Check,?review,?and?organize?all?trade-related?import?and?export?activities.
Oversee?administrative?functions?to?ensure?all?paperwork?(import/export?document?etc)?is?processed?efficiently?and?in?a?timely?manner?and?meets?all?compliance?requirements.?
Maintain?performance?statistics?and?ensure?accurate?record?keeping?of?all?operational?documents.?Prepare?regular?management?reports?for?senior?management?review?
Make?decision?on?a?cost?effective?contracts/agreements?with?vendors/forwarders?to?ensure?efficient?deliveries.?
Motivate?staff?and?develop?effective?working?relationship?with?peers,?executive?and?customers.?Coach,?develop?and?motivate?team?members?to?ensure?the?business?is?executed?in?line?with?Company’s?direction?and?procedures.
Develop?delivery?options?and?transportation?strategies?to?ensure?effective?logistic?services?and?execute?those?strategies?effectively.
You?will?also?assist?in?other?ad-hoc?projects?such?as?operational?control?and?process?review,?system?implementation,?etc.
Work?Experience?and?Skills:
University?graduate?in?Logistics?Management?or?related?discipline
Minimum?10?years?experience?in?shipping?operations?with?at?least?5?years?in?managerial?position.?Warehouse?experience?is?an?advantage.
Must?have?solid?knowledge?in?ERP?system.?
Must?possess?strong?leadership?skills,?flexibility,?initiative,?and?the?ability?to?think?creatively.?
Must?be?able?to?work?in?a?fast?paced?environment?and?possess?excellent?organization?and?time?management?skills,?be?self-motivated?and?energetic.?
Analytical,?strong?problem?solving?skills?and?interpersonal?skills
Experience?in?garment?and?footwear?label?and?ticket?manufacturing?industries?would?be?an?advantage.
